Resistors and Resistors for Industrial Furnaces

Resistors are silicon carbide heating elements that are rod-shaped or tubular depending on the diameter. They have a central heating section called the hot zone and two end sections called the cold ends.
The ends of the elements are metallized with aluminum to provide a low-resistance contact surface to which electrical connections are made using braided aluminum cable ties.
